Orange Pathways is a non-profit organization founded in 1990 by local residents in cooperation with the Orange County Citizens Foundation. Its purpose is to promote and develop multi-recreational trails in Orange County, New York.

Through fundraising EVENTS, membership drives, sale of mile markers, benches, and generous donations we are able to make large monetary contributions for trail expansion projects like the two going on right now.

Orange Pathways all volunteer members work with local government, County Planning, National Park Service and others to ensure trail expansion projects get completed with a priority on the best interest of the public.

The Heritage Trail is definitely something everyone in Orange County can be proud of. Whether you are walking, jogging, running, biking or pushing a baby stroller the path offers something to everyone.

With your continued support we are confident we will be able to improve and build upon this wonderful crown jewel for years to come.
